Fine filtration applications demand fine and accurate wire cloths. Yet fine wire cloth is delicate, lacks rigidity and is often supported incorrectly. 

Topmesh provides a high performance solution, successfully fusing fine mesh onto a strong support.

Alternative high strength filter media rely on varying depths of randomly aligned particles or fibres to achieve their strength, resulting in an increase in pressure drop relative to the increased thickness of the medium.

These random materials also rely on a range of pore shapes and sizes to achieve their stated average pore size or filter rating. This can result in performance variation over the area of a filter or screen, and from one screen to another.

Topmesh gives designers the option of selecting a highly efficient, cleanable surface filter capable of withstanding reverse pressures.

With the cost of filtration now recognised as an operational issue, industry is moving increasingly towards reusable filters for economic and environmental reasons. Topmesh provides the ideal solution for 'built-in' as opposed to 'bolt-on' filtration, offering a solution which is cleanable from both sides.

Topmesh is produced using precision woven wire cloth with regular porosity and tight control over aperture sizes within very narrow tolerances. This construction guarantees very selective removal or separation of particulate and extremely reliable pressure differential monitoring - in short, consistent performance over the entire surface area.
